Odd request but I hope someone can help? [November 12, 2009] junemermaid Okay so I have an odd request that I'm not sure if anyone will humor me on, but I'm going to ask anyway. Paul and I want to dress up when we go to the Alice cafe and I said I'd go lolita but I don't want to spend several hundred dollars on an outfit I'll literally wear once. So I was wondering if any of my friends on here that dress lolita would be willing to lend me an outfit for the evening? I'll pay shipping both ways and have everything dry cleaned before sending it back. Anyone who knows me knows I'm a SUPER clothes horse and keep all my brand clothing immaculate so anything lent out to me would be returned in the same condition. Heck if you have something that needs repairing I can repair it and return it in even better condition! I know people are really protective of their clothing, so I'll understand if no one wants to help me out, but I'd forever love anyone who would be willing to help me be a dainty lady for an evening :( Anyone who would be willing to lend me one of their outfits, I'll pick up a thank you gift for you too if you just lemme know what your favorite brand is as I'll be hitting up all the brand stores while I'm there. So yeah if anyone would be willing to lend me something, be it out of the kindness of your heart or just because you just want to see Christy dressed up like a dainty lady, it's all good lol. UPDATE on stuff and COMMISSIONS [November 11, 2009] zombiejam #1- Update! Okay so remember that B&W artbook? Back on track! Fawn's handling the design now and we talked about the direction of more when I went to visit her, so everything is back on track and back in the works to make an even nicer book for everyone who preordered. Don't worry I still have all of your info in my paypal so everyone who preordered will be getting the super books for less than they'll be for sale! So you guys got a good deal :3 #2- Commissions! I'm going to Japan for the holidays and am trying to scrounge up enough money to cover my rent for both months I'll be gone. Usually I do commissions per month to pay for things, but this time I need to get up two months of rent in the time I usually do one. UGH! SO! I'm doing super cheap-o full-body character design-style illustrations on DA: http://nyanko-chan.deviantart.com/journal/27964672 If you're interested in getting one I'll be taking them until the end of this month trying to raise funds. They're on SUPER sale, most full bodies costing the same price a headshot or bust-up costs, so you can get some really good savings if you've ever wanted a full body by me. NEW ENGLAND FAN EXPERIENCE Nov 13-15th! :D [November 09, 2009] bettinamarie [ mood | accomplished ] X-post w/ DA... Hey all! Just dropping in to let you know I'm still alive...dead tired from not getting enough sleep in the past few days (gotta get as much done as possible BEFORE Thurs!
